|My organization is currently faced with the problem of how to transport our Pathways participants once they get a job. Has anyone worked with non-profits that donate cars to low-income persons?|

|In Vermont, CVCAC (a non-profit) has a state-wide Car Coach program to help low-income folks purchase a car: "The Car Coach, an auto sales and service industry expert, works with you to address credit issues, find a safe and reliable vehicle for sale, and assist you with financing (loan) and purchasing. ... We may also be able to provide assistance with a down payment or a loan guarantee."
For more info, see http://www.cvcac.org/index.php/transportation.
